Directions:

We don't believe in chemical emulsifying agents that keep all the ingredients blended, so be sure to shake the bottle lightly before each use. 

Drop a small amount onto your palm - about the size of a quarter.  Activate the oil by rubbing it between your hands until it's the same temperature as your skin.  Gently apply the oil to the mids and ends of your hair.  For best results, slightly dampen your hair prior to applying the oil. 

If you have normal or excess sebum production on your scalp, avoid applying it to your roots every day!  Your scalp already produces a natural oil, which hydrates and coats your hair.  If you add extra oil to that; you run the risk of clogged pores, ingrown hairs, and greasy looking roots.  If you have a naturally dry scalp, please use your best judgement in applying it to your roots, and use sparingly.

Warnings:

The lowest smoke point in this oil is around 100 degrees Celsius.  Please take this into consideration if you straighten or curl your hair.  We absolutely do not encourage any form of heat treatment for your precious locks, but if you must - Please apply this oil AFTER you style your hair, or a few hours before.  Smoke point refers to the temperature at which an oil will become a gas.  Many oils can break down with high temperatures and can hurt your lungs if the fumes are inhaled.
